Design and Development of a Packing System that keeps the product safe throughout its journey till it reaches its final destination, is an important part of the product development cycle. While the package keeps the product safe, it is equally important these days, to design the packing system to be aesthetically appealing and ensure that it gives a pleasant unboxing experience to the consumer. An element of surprise would be icing on the cake.
At the same time, we being responsible towards Mother Earth, the packing system needs to be completely eco-friendly as far as possible. So the packaging would be developed with corrugated paper or any other bio-degradable material. There is a lot of research going on in the industry in bringing out easily and quickly bio-degradable material for packaging. Once they come up to commercial scale, even such materials can be used in the future.
The shipment packaging mainly depends on the product that needs to be delivered in it. The type of packaging (Primary or Bulk Transport), the product weight, Fragility level of the product, Industry category, Type of customer it is going to be delivered to, the luxury element attached to the product, Accessories associated with the product, shipment environment, the transportation types it might go through (Air or Ground), whether it is going to be delivered B2B or B2C or B2B2C, etc. are some of the considerations that go into the design of a packing system at iSol. Needless to say, the cost of manufacturing such packing system should be reasonably low in comparison to the product cost.
iSol is an expert in designing high-quality shipment packaging that can be manufactured at reasonable costs. We have designed packages for many products of diverse categories. Some of them have been designed for ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) compliance and have successfully passed the tests at accredited labs as well.
Though our preference is to use bio-degradable material like corrugated paper and molded paper pulp, if customers insist, we are capable of designing packing systems with materials like conventional foams (EPE, EPP, PU, etc.) and corrugated PVC, some of them being reusable/ recyclable multiple times.
